It will be Black Beer night at the FOAM meeting Thursday. I'll have some Old Engine Oil, a Lithuanian Baltic Porter, and Smoke Jumper smoked porter. How about you?

Now the club is subsidizing nearly half the cost of Iron Brewer. There are no excuses now, except lack of talent or a preference for wine coolers.

That was COOL! I want the winners award to have that on it. It will look really good over my fireplace.

Come on you lurking FOAM'ers. We need a few more brewing teams for Iron Brewer. Where's Anwar, Steve Stivers, some of you young punks of our club. Don't let these old geezers show you up! Especially the old geezer Arrogant Bastard.

Hey now! "off-road brew rig racing" sounds like a redneck, homebrewing olympic sport or something. We'll have to make sure that gets added to next year's qualifying events! rofl

I'm biting! Sorry, I was away at my grandmother's funeral today. She told me before she died to not listen to people who talked smack in Japanese because she and her generation fought to not drive rice burners or eat with sticks. And especially not to brew with rice. Bang!

Four teams have registered for the inaugural FOAM Iron Brewer competition. Does the club have but 12 brewers and brewsters worthy to be Iron Brewer? I think not. Step up and brew like you mean it. Register as a team or as individuals. See the article and link in the center column of this web page.
bullet Philosopher on Thursday 04 March 2010 - 11:19:13AM
The 200 gallon limit is from the federal legalization law. The State does not care how much you brew unless you're selling it. They never have.
bullet New Roc Set on Thursday 04 March 2010 - 10:52:54AM
I doubt they can keep track of how many gallons you brew ; ) I'm thinking that it might be a Federal Law that says 200 gallons b/c I know I've seen that number somewhere else.

how could they keep track of how many gallons you have brewed?

seems to be like how many stop signs have you not come to a full and complete stop for?
