It's so [censored] hot that my eyeballs are sweating. When will we get a break from this crazy humidity? I have worked out in the yard for two evenings in a row until nine and came in as spent as my mash grains and soaking wet. At least my mash gives up wort for the punishment of heat and water. Me, I got nothing.

Day 2 brew 2. Top temp, 102. Flies interested in the mash. Boiling wort, not so much. No flies were harmed nor consumed ... to my knowledge.

I'll be in St. Louis on Sunday with NOTHING to do. Planning on a trip to Schlafly, anywhere else I should go?

The Spelt Hefeweizen sounds like something I need 2 brew! The August comp is the River City Roundup sponsored by the OmaHops Club from Nebraska.

Have you obtained or do you plan to obtain a homebrewing permit from the State?

Yes.

No, because it's more fun brewing rogue.

No, because I fear what the State will do in the future.

No. I don't brew, I just drink your beer.
